These are good for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/3 C Bisquick Mix

  • 1/2 C milk

  • 3 Tbs Sugar

  • 3 Tbs butter, melted

  • 1 pint blueberries (or as many as you want)

  • Glaze for top
  • About 2 cups powdered sugar

  • 2 to 3 drops of vanilla extract

  • A few drops water

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400ºF
  • Melt butter and let cool.
  • In a bowl, mix together Bisquick and sugar.
  • Stir in milk to melted butter.
  • Mix the wet with the dry. Mix the milk and butter into the Bisquick and sugar until it becomes dough.
  • VERY gently fold blueberries into the dough.
  • Use a spoon to divide the biscuit dough into biscuits evenly on an ungreased sheet pan (best if covered by a silicone mat).
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until done.
  • Glaze
  • Mix together all the ingredients to make a liquid glaze. Pour over hot biscuits right as they come out of the oven.

Notes

  • Fresh blueberries taste best, but you can use frozen if that’s what you have.
