2 fingers of ginger root, peeled
10 sprigs of fresh thyme
3 c water
3/4 c sugar
16 oz frozen peaches, blended (or use peach juice)
ginger ale
Directions
- Put water, ginger, sugar, thyme in a sauce pan.
- Reduce down halfway. About 45 minutes over low to medium heat.
- Strain, and combine with peach juice. (You can leave a little pulp if you choose.)
- Add 1/2 ginger drink to 1/2 ginger ale over ice and enjoy.
Notes
- Store drink in the refrigerator without the ginger ale.
- Shake or stir before use.
